DescriptionCollapsible top hat made of black silk/cotton faille. The black grosgrain ribbon hatband is 5/8 inch wide, and ends in a half bow on the proper left side. The brim is edged with the black grosgrain ribbon. The brim curves up at the sides, with the binding curled in sharply towards the crown at the same place. The crown curves inwards in the middle, flaring out at the base and top. There is a wide (3 3/4 inches) sweatband of black silk/cotton faille on the inside. A bow of black grosgrain ribbon marks the center back side.
