DescriptionA black and white photograph of a cradle roll circa 1917 in Burnside (East Hartford), Connecticut. The photo is mounted onto a cardboard backing. The photo shows a group of women and children standing in front of a building, likely a church. There are four rows of people with the back two rows standing and the front two rows sitting in chairs. Four people in the photo are identified. In the front row, the sixth child from the left is Myrtle Gowdy. Her mother, Susan Gowdy, is standing in the third row, third from the left. The Gowdy's are marked with an "X" on their blouses. The Rev. Harold H. Critchlow and his wife, Jennie Critchlow, are the last people standing on the right of the third and fourth rows. The Critchlow's are marked with a checkmark next to their heads on the right side.
