DescriptionA ribbon with a pin-back for the Lockwood Council No. 33, Order of United American Mechanics (O. U. A. M.) in Danielsonville, Connecticut. At the top of the ribbon is a gold eagle with spread wings. A blue ribbon with gold lettering is suspended from the eagle. A bright pink ribbon with gold tassels is attached to the bottom of the blue ribbon. At the edge where the blue and pink ribbon meet, a black bow is pinned to the blue ribbon covering up "DANIELSONVILLE, CONN." Gold tassels adorn the top and bottom edge of the pink ribbon. In the center of the pink ribbon is an American flag in the shape of a bow.

M.) was founded in 1845 in Philadelphia with the name Union of Workers. The organization began as a nativist organization to fight against the increasing immigrant population in the United States. Irish, German, and Roman Catholics were the primary groups the O. U. A. M. was against. The Junior Order American Mechanics (J. O. U. A. M.) was founded in 1853, and the O. U. A. M. was eventually absorbed by the J. O. U. A. M.
