DescriptionA medal awarded by the State of New York for service in World War I. A bronze medal suspended from a blue and white striped ribbon. On the front of the medallion are relief images of a soldier and an angel with "WORLD WAR" inscribed at the top. On the reverse side is a wreath of oak and laurel leaves surrounding the text in the center. Banners on the leaves identify the countries involved in the war. Awarded to Dr. Reynold Webb Wilcox.
