DescriptionA gold medal with red enamel hung on a red, white, and blue ribbon. It has five double points on each ending in a small ball. On the face is the monogram "SV" with the motto and 1881 in Roman numerals. On the reverse side is "DIV. OF N. Y./ S. V./ 140." A Sons of Veterans medal that originally belonged to Dr. Reynold Webb Wilcox.
