DescriptionA commemorative medallion (a) engraved to James A. Bunce. On the front of the medallion is an engraved image of a cherub seated and facing away from the viewer, holding a book in his hands. On the viewer's left is an engraved image of an open book with two quill pens. On the viewer's right is an engraved image of a large scroll and globe. Engraved around the edge it says "From the Editors of the 2nd No. of the "Excelsior"." On the reverse side, two garlands are engraved with an inscription in the center. A note (b) and envelope (c) accompany the medallion.
