DescriptionA guest badge for the Sphinx Temple in Hahe top bar is in the shape of wings and "1904" is inscribed in the center. Two chains descend from each side of the top bar to another bar that is inscribed with "GUEST." Two more chains descend again from the middle bar to a circular medal the has a relief image of a sphynx with "SPHINX TEMPLE HARTFORD, CONN." inscribed on a crescent moon on the viewer's left.

NotesHistorical Note: The Sphinx Shriners of The Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine fraternity formed the Sphinx Temple in Hartford, Conn. on 13 April 1896. The first meeting was held at the store of Noble William Marchant, located on Allyn Street in Hartford. The Sphinx Temple was the seventy-third Temple established in North America.
