DescriptionWoman's pelerine of sheer white cotton muslin, embroidered in white cotton. The pelerine has a wide collar around the neckline, which is edged with additional scalloping, continuing down the center front opening. The pelerine is shaped with wide shoulders, with the center front extending slightly in points on either side of the opening. The edges over the shoulders are cut in four points, as is the back edge. The embroidery pattern is of stylized flowers, with serrated-edge, leaf-like designs, grouped in threes.
