DescriptionSmall boy's dress of red twill-woven wool printed with black dots arranged in groups of four. The dress has a wide neckline bound with pinkish red silk tape. The center front of the bodice has six pleats arranged in a V and stitched in place with ecru-colored silk thread in a chain stitch. The full sleeves are also pleated at the top of the arm and stitched down with the silk thread in a chain stitch. The armscyes and underarm sleeve seam are piped. The dress has a 1 1/8-inch-wide waistband topstitched in the contrasting ecru thread. The skirt is flat at center front and knife-pleated around the sides and back. A one-inch-wide tuck is taken around the bottom of the skirt. The center back opening extends 10 1/2 inches. The bodice is lined with plain cotton.
