DescriptionPair of child's pantalet legs of white cotton, decorated with a band of whitework embroidery inserted 1 1/2 inches above the bottom edge. The leg openings are edged with a strip of scalloped and faggoted cotton of a lighter weight than the pantalet legs. (This same lightweight cotton is used for the whitework insertion.) The legs are stitched in tubes, with the long edge of a triangular piece of fabric stitched around the top. The apex of the triangle is stitched with a buttonhole for fastening to the child's shirt.
