DescriptionThree-quarter length seated portrait of a woman and a young child, looking towards the right. The woman wears a low-cut dress with full sleeves. Her left sleeve is fastened with a string of pearls, and she wears a bracelet of pearls on her left wrist. She wears a rose in her bodice and additional roses and a band in her hair. The child wears a gown with a broad sash, and he points with his left hand. He leans on a circular support at the left. There appears to be a slipcover on the chair in which the woman is seated.
