DescriptionBlack and white photograph mounted on board (top corners of board are missing) showing the interior of a shoe shine shop in East Hartford, Conn. At the back of the store stands Carl Boniface while seated on a chair along an elevated platform is his employer. Above the chairs hang framed prints of young ladies and below the hairs are foot rests. Along the left side of the narrow shop are racks with magazines above which hang mirrors. Both men are wearing caps.
