DescriptionGlass counters and display cases are arranged in the interiors of drugstores. Some photographs include soda fountains, lunch counters, and prescription counters. Two young men wearing white jackets, one of them wearing a bow tie, are behind the counters in one photograph. Merchandise includes books, candy, cigars, comic books, magazines, medicines, newspapers (including the Hartford Courant), pipes, stationery, and toiletries. Some photographs include cash registers, clocks, coat racks, electric light bulbs and electrical fixtures, electric fans, flower arrangements, telephones, and tin ceilings. Restaurant interiors include boothes, tables, and chairs. Most tables and boothes have tableclothes and condiments on them.
