DescriptionYoung girl's semi-circular cape of white marseilles, woven in a diamond pattern, trimmed with black soutache braid and white cotton fringe along the edges. The cape has a turn-down collar, which is also trimmed with soutache and fringe. It closes at the neck with a single hook and eye (the eye is now missing). The fabric is pieced horizontally across the front; it is unlined.
