DescriptionHeavy leather boots with straps and buckles for adjusting the fit at the top, and across the front of the ankle. The boots are high, probably reaching to just below the knee. The soles and stacked heel are studded with square steel cleats. The boot has a welted seam around the top of the foot ("mocassin seam"); the toe shape is a broad oval. A leather loop at the center back of each boot assists the wearer in pulling it on.
