DescriptionMan's double-breasted vest of dark brown velveteen. The rows of buttons extend the length of the vest so that it may be buttoned all the way to the turn-down collar, or the top may be left unbuttoned and turned back to create lapels. The buttons are molded gutta percha with brass shanks. There is a 6 1/4-inch-wide pocket on each side. The backing fabric of the vest is dark brown cotton; the lining is plain, undyed cotton. The bottom edge of the vest is lined to a depth of three inches with black satin-woven wool.
