DescriptionSmall girl's dress of white cotton. The neckline is wide and square and is controlled by three drawstrings drawn through separate casings. The short sleeves are decorated with two rows of tucks; the sleeve openings are edged with scalloped whitework embroidery. The bodice and skirt are both closely gathered into the one-inch-wide waistband. The skirt is decorated with three tiers of multiple narrow tucks. The dress opens at center back for a length of nine inches. It fastens with the drawstrings at the neckline and with two mother of pearl buttons on the waistband. The hem is 2 3/8 inches wide.
