DescriptionChild's chemise of cream-colored wool flannel, cut in a flared A-line style. The rounded neckline, armholes, and center front opening (which is nine inches long) are scalloped and finished with buttonhole stitching in cream-colored thread. Three silk bows decorate the opening, which has no visible means of closure. The side seams are covered with featherstitching in matching silk thread. The bottom of the chemise has been cut off and left raw.
