DescriptionYoung child's quilted petticoat of green twill-woven wool, gathered into a 1 1/8-inch-wide waistband of brown cotton sateen. The waistband is worked with nine buttonholes for attaching to the bodice. The quilting is done in horizontal lines, spaced about 5/8-inch apart. The batting is white cotton. The bottom edge is faced on the inside with self-fabric for a depth of 3 3/4 inches. The rest of the lining is tan plain-woven cotton. The wool is pieced at the back of the petticoat.
