DescriptionA man in a suit and hat sits on an octagonal Adirondack style deck overlooking a lake. A tree, probably an elm tree, grows through the middle of the deck. A second man stands on the shore beside a rowboat. A dirt road is at the left. A small frame house with a porch is probably a summer cottage. Some of the trees appear to be white birches. Hills are in the distance. Inscribed on back: "August E. Kessler / Emerson C. Kessler."
