DescriptionMiniature overshoes of tan velvet, with black rubber soles. The vamp and the back of the shoes are separate; the vamp is high and styled with a peak that would reach the ankle. The remnants of pale pink silk ribbon are stitched on either side of the shoes, suggesting that the shoes once tied with a bow across the vamp. The upper is lined with knitted beige cotton; the sock lining is woven beige cotton. Matching tan velvet lines the back part of the upper, at the sides only. The black rubber sole is molded with a low, broad heel, and with a tread in a diamond grid pattern. The words "WALES GOODYEAR" are molded into the waist of the sole.
