NotesSubject Note: Francis R. Cooley was a banker, with offices at 49 Pearl Street. He resided at 12 Marshall Street. The Bulkeley Bridge opened to trolley traffic on December 8, 1907 and to the general public on December 21, 1907. The dedication of the bridge was the occasion of a three-day celebration on October 6,7, and 8, 1908.
