DescriptionInfant's bathrobe of soft, white cotton flannel. The robe is constructed of a rectangle of fabric, with the narrow ends folded to the center front, where they overlap. The armscyes, shoulderline, and rounded neckline are cut out of the top edge. The sleeves are about six inches long, and they are seamed along the top of the arm. All edges are finished with pale pink rayon thread, machine-stitched in a fan-like pattern. There is a buttonhole stitched at the top of the right front, indicating that the opening originally fastened with a button. A diamond of self-fabric is zig-zag stitched in pink thread over the proper right breast.
