DescriptionA man, dressed in riding clothes, consisting of a beaked cap, a jacket with a belt, and breeches, stands beside a dappled gray horse wearing a saddle and bridle. The man has sideburns and holds a riding crop or whip. Ten large spotted hound dogs, probably fox hounds, are in the foreground. Grassy fields, trees, and a castle with a round tower at one corner and a square tower at the other corner are in the background.
