DescriptionFour men in an open frame building. A pitcher and a coffeepot are on a counter in the foreground. Pies, bowls and additional coffeepots are on a shelf or windowsill at left. Hats, ladles and other utensils hang on the wall at right. The man in the foreground appears to be paring or shucking something, possibly shellfish, in a bowl and pail. Behind him, another man turns a spigot on a large tank. At the left, a man in a chef's hat handles raw meat. A meat grinder is on a table beside him. A banner or American flag is hung across the ceiling.
