DescriptionInfant's shirt of white cotton. The shirt is constructed of an approximately square piece of fabric, folded in half to form the shoulderline. The neckline is cut out of the folded edge; it is wide, with rounded corners. A slight curve is cut out of the sides to form the short sleeves; the side seams are flat-felled. The sleeve openings and the neckline edge are trimmed with bobbin lace. The center back opening fastens with a single, small, mother of pearl button at the top.
