DescriptionBrown leather moccasins, stitched with a T-shaped center back seam, and with the sides of the leather gathered up, over the toe and sides of the foot, and stitched to a U-shaped panel on top of the foot. The ankle is surrounded by a turn-down flap. This flap and the top panel are faced with dark brown velvet and decorated with glass beads in white, clear, blue, pink, maroon, yellow, and green. The beaded decoration is a stylized floral pattern on the panel on top of the foot, and a blue zig-zag within white straight lines on the flap around the ankle. The flap is bound with red fabric, cut on the straight grain. Both mocassins retain only fragments of their pink tammy (glazed, plain-woven wool) lining. The flaps are tied with black velvet ribbon at the ankle.
