DescriptionWater falls over a high dam in a narrow rocky gorge, presumably on the Naugatuck River. The corner of a large industrial building is at the left. NotesSubject Note: The American Pin Co., which manufactured pins, hooks and eyes, and ornaments for small brassware, was founded in Waterbury in 1846. In 1894, the business moved to a large new factory in Waterville.
