DescriptionFactory building with tall smokestack on bank of narrow, fast-flowing stream, probably the Naugatuck River or one of its tributaries. Lettering on the smokestack reads: "The / New / Haven / Copper Co. / Mfrs. Of / Sheet / Copper / since / 1849." An iron bridge crosses the river in the middle distance. Frame houses line the right bank and large trees are on a sand and gravel spit at the left.
