DescriptionSixteen men and two boys wearing aprons, coveralls and hats stand in front of brick factory door. Each are numbered coinciding with inscription on back. Number 15 at right is Joseph Wybell, owner, holding a wood plane. Number 12, third from left standing in top row is Charles H. Dresser, owner. Number 7 is probably his son, Wilfred H. Half of basement windows are above grade.

NotesSubject Note: Joseph C. Wybell and Charles H. Dresser operated company from 1880 until 1894 when Dresser took over. Wybell and Dresser, located at 225 Sheldon Street corner of Woodbridge Street, produced "fine woodwork, turning, scrollsawing" for store and office furnishings, mantels and wainscotting. Inscription on back: "Wybell & Dresser / Est 1880 / Picture about 1890. / #1 Joe [Joseph] Gardner, cabinet maker / #2 Charlie [Charles E.] Sampson, band sawery[?] (the very best) / #3 Dan MacDonald, finisher [Daniel McDonald] / #4George Daniels, cabinetmaker [George A.
