DescriptionDirt street with masonry sidewalks. On right is large industrial factory complex of clapboard and masonry buildings of the Hockanum Company Mill. On the left and streetside is a tower capped with a large open cupola with weathervane. There is a woman in a blouse and ankle length skirt on the sidewalk. A horse-drawn carriage in is the street near a tree. Three houses are visible along the street. There is a one and a half story Second Empire house to the right of the mill that appears to belong to the complex. A tall smokestack is in the middle of the image as well as a row of utility poles.
