DescriptionLight brown sueded leather boots, now darkened; they are front-lacing and have a blunt oval toe. Above the ankle, the boots have three straps that buckle over the lacing. Rather than having a tongue behind the lacing, the boot leg is cut extra wide, and folds behind the lacing. The laces are narrow strips of leather. The low, stacked heel is nailed with steel rectangular-headed pegs, and three horseshoe shaped cleats. A strip of matching leather is sewed up the back seam and finished with a loop, to aid in pulling the boots on. The toe cap has decorative punch work along the seam. The soles are shaped for right and left feet. The boots are unlined.
