DescriptionMan and woman in snow in front of large two-story, five-bay gable end clapboard Georgian house with pediment roof over front door and side lights. Palladian window and gable fan window. Plank fence on left and picket fence in front of house. Man wears jacket and hat, woman wears shawl and bonnet. A barn is in background. Inscription on back: "Romeo Elton" "Burlington?"

It is located on Route 4 in the center of Burlington. Romeo Elton was born in 1817 and died in 1889; his wife Emeline Belden Elton was born in 1819 and died in 1906.
