DescriptionFamily in front of one-story clapboard five-bay Cape style house. Man on left wears vest and hat and holds reins of horse. Man on right in straw-hat squats on ground with rifle near woman on horse. Two women in center, one in an apron. Stone wall in front of house. Barrel near basement door. Barn on right has stacked woodpile on right. On left side of house is plank fence and what appear to be three beehives. Small outbuilding on left may be outhouse. Trees and bushes close to front of house.
