DescriptionAt the far left are two men in overalls, probably farmhands. One of them rides on a piece of agricultural equipment, possibly a harrow, drawn by two horses. In the center, a stout man wearing a vest, coat, hat and watch chain and a woman sit in an open carriage drawn by one horse. An elderly woman wearing a cap (?) and apron stands between this horse and the horses to the left. At the far right three or four people, including a woman holding an infant, are in a surrey with a fringed top. In the background is a two-story center-chimney house with an enclosed front entrance. A barn is visible at left behind the house.
