DescriptionWoman's sunbonnet of brown and white gingham. The brim is curved towards the neck edge and trimmed with a narrow, self-fabric ruffle. The crown is gathered to the brim, so that its edge forms a ruffle. Similarly, the neck curtain is gathered along the bottom edge of the brim and crown so that it forms a ruffle. The brim is interlined for stiffness and lined with self-fabric. Ties of self-fabric are stitched on either side of the neck edge. The neck edge is adjustable by means of a drawstring with brass tips inserted in a casing.
