DescriptionFamily gathered around a picket fence in front of a two-story house with a porch. A sign on a tree reads "For Sale." The man is behind the fence. To his left, a woman holds a young girl in a short dress. A woman holding an infant is seated in front of the fence. Five older girls or young women are seated on the grass. One of them holds a banjo. Another young woman is mounted bareback on a horse at left. A boy is seated on the fence post behind her. Behind the horse, are a hammock and an open about rriage.
