DescriptionDistant view of Norfolk from the East. The road in the foreground, with a "stone wall" on the left and a "Board fence" on the right is the Albany Turnpike, later Route 44. It is lined with houses with fields behind. The most prominent building in the village is the Congregational Church. The hills beyond are labeled "wooded," Bare interspersed trees," "Wooded Bold," and "Distant faint."
