DescriptionView of the Mill Pond and Congregational Churches in Milford. The almost circular mill pond is in the foreground with small trees at the right. The millstream, the Wepawaug, flows into the pond beneath the small bridge. The two Congregational Churches are in the background, on either side of the river, with a few small buildings in between. A man in a top hat seated in the right foreground may be a self-portrait.
