"Albie" Booth, Jr. (1908-1959) was a three-sport captain and football star at Yale from 1929 to 1931. He scored all three touchdowns in the 21-13 upset of Army in 1930.

Francis F. "Frank" Carideo (1908-1992) was a quarterback for Notre Dame from 1929-1930. After graduation he served as an assistant coach at several colleges.

Christian K. "Red" Cagle (1905-1942) was an All-American halfback on the Army team in 1927, 1928, and 1929. He secretly married in violation of West Point rules and was forced to resign without graduating.

Ernie Nevers (1903-1976) was a fullback at Stanford from 1923 to 1925. Like Albie Booth, he also played baseball and basketball. After college he played professional baseball with the St. Louis Browns and professional football with the Chicago Cardinals.
