DescriptionAmateur and professional studio portraits documenting the life of Robert Colby Wood from the time he was a young boy through his old age. In some photographs he appears with his wife Mary or his daughter Arlene. Other pictures include a dog and a cat. In one photograph, a stone wall and a multiple family dwelling are visible in the background. In one photograph he wears eyeglasses and holds a cane.

NotesSubject Note: Robert Colby Wood was born in 1920 and died in 1977. He married Mary Frances Rizzico in 1940. The couple had four surviving children: Arlene Marie Wood, Carol Wood, Robert Colby Wood, Jr., and Daniel Arthur Wood. Twin daughters died in infancy. This group of photographs documents virtually Wood's entire life and includes photographs of Wood's wife and daughter Arlene. (Finlay 12/21/2013)
