DescriptionSixteen photographs, most of them taken in or of New York City. Several show the city from a distance, and two of those show the Manhattan Bridge in the foreground. Two of the photographs were taken at the South Street Seaport. Others show traffic on a highway, including cars and trucks stopped at a toll plaza. A three-story Italianate-style house is also depicted, with groups of people outside on the grounds, as well as part of the facade of what appears to be a Second Empire-style house. The Lightship Ambrose is shown docked. There is at least one photograph of Hartford, showing Union Place in the rain.
