DescriptionSeven men stand at various points along a long skinny dock, putting canoes in the water. There is one canoe in the foreground and two more in the middle ground. There are lots of logs floating in the water in the area where they are preparing the canoes, but the lake is clear beyond them. Tree-covered mountains border the lake in the distance.
