The children are all in nice clothes, and the girl has a large bow in her hair. They are Stephen P. Cheney, Antoinette Phelps Cheney (Crocker) and Roger Williams Cheney. The hut is a tea house or summer house that stood near the Horace Bushnell Cheney house in South Manchester, Connecticut.
