DescriptionAn elderly man wearing ecclesiastical vestments including a patterned and figured cloak with a metal clasp, a lace-trimmed robe, and a tall hat (miter) with a cross on it. He has a beard and mustache and holds a crooked staff (crosier) in his right hand. Three large snakes are beneath his feet. His head is surrounded by a halo and clouds. Trees or bushes and a church with a large steeple are in the right background. A cliff overlooking the sea is in the left background.
