DescriptionAn older couple stands at the doorway to a frame house. The man is dressed in a long jacket, shirt, vest, and trousers.. The clothes appear to be homemade. He is balding and appears to be unshaven. The woman is wearing a long-sleeved print dress, spectacles, and possibly a wig. Her hand rests on the man's shoulder. A thermometer hangs on the doorframe to the right ft. An open screen door is to the left.
