DescriptionA political campaign poster for the presidential and vice-presidential campaign of 1868. Bust-length portaits of the two men are framed by draped American flags connected by a shield, eagle, and tassels, and are tied back by stars. Both men have beards. The man on the left has a mustache and wears a military uniform. The man on the right wears a jacket, shirt, and bow tie. The title is in a decorative cartouche at the bottom of the image.
