DescriptionThe back porch of the top floor of a four-story brick tenement building. The floor is in dilapidated condition with one corner missing. A pile of lumber is at the left. An advertisting sign painted onto the side of the building beyond the porch reads: "Pallotti, Andretta & co. Bankers 96 Windsor Street Steamship Agency". Connecticut Boulevard and the Bulkeley Bridge are visible in the background.

NotesSubject Note: A 1917 Sanborn map suggests that the photograph was probably taken from 247 State Street, a building owned by "Nicholas Pallotti Est[ate].". Nicholas, or Nicola Pallotti died on November 1, 1914. His partner, A. S. Andretta, died in 1929.
