Subject Note: Jonathan Wood was born on 15 December 1854 in Burnley, Lancashire, England. He married Elizabeth Smyrk in 1876. The couple had six children. The first four were born in England; the last two were born in New Britain, Connecticut. Jonathan died in 1924 and is buried in New Britain. (Finlay 12/2/2013)
