DescriptionViews taken in various Connecticut locations include: the Nepaug Dam in New Hartford; the City Hall in Torringtion decorated for an American Legion convention with bunting and American flags; in Guilford, the Henry Whitfield House - the oldest stone house in Connecticut; an American Legion convention in New London which includes views of the Municipal Building decorated with bunting, the U.S.S. Raleigh, an airplane landing on the Thames River, a view of Fishers Island, New York; men and women walking around the Elizabeth Park rose garden in Hartford; the Nathan Hale Monument in Coventry; the U.S.S. Richmond in New Haven for an American Legion State Convention; and a Memorial Day Parade, possibly in New London or Hartford, that shows horses, marching bands, men and boys in uniform, and a tree lined street with several parked automobiles. Also, an image that shows the Connecticut Building, with a domed clock tower, erected in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Sesquicentennial celebration.
